Montage Project

My initial idea with this project was to focus only on editing. I wanted to take filming out of the equation and decided to pull footage from other sources. I was thinking about either taking clips from various movies or from the public domain. When looking at various public domain clips, I was drawn to the war footage. It was interesting and I felt like it could be drawn together with sound very well to tell a story.

Initially I was intending on not telling much of a story, but simply stringing together clips. After some organizing, I decided that chronological was the best way to structure the video. I ended up adding the air raid siren at the ending because I wanted to make it seem cyclical as well. Something I hadn't initially intended.
